Yay Linus

So tonight turned out to be a very different kind of night in our house. For the last week Mr. Linus has been hiding, hissing, and trying to claw our eyes out. I've been looking into a replacement for him. Tonight that foster home emailed me telling me another family was looking into the same cat as us but we had first choice. I told them to let him go to the other family because we were still working with Linus. After I emailed her back I looked at Linus, who was snuggling with me, (I've been doing intensive snuggling interventions with him.) and told him we were keeping him with or without his attitude. He instantly jumped up and started kissing me and running around. I was taken back because up until that moment I was sure he was contemplating my demise. Since then he's been playing (cautiously) with Baxter and eating like a fool. I'm so happy he's coming around! Looks like Linus is officially a Davis!
