I think I'm officially an adult now!

So it's been a few days since I accepted the job with DCYF. I've had some time to let all the details sink in and I guess this means I'm officially an adult now. I mean technically I've legally been an adult for the last four years but this is different. I went to college so I could have a career, this career. I'm not saying my work at tides isn't a great job or a worthy one. I love Tides and I'll be sad leaving my little guy. But... I haven't worked a 40 hour week in almost six months. This might take some getting used to. Anthony and I have always talked about what we'd like our yearly income to be in five years to ten years. Well, this job will put us in our projected range. It's still a lot to take in. I'll be doing child removal and pretty much telling people they are bad and unfit parents. It's definitely not a job that comes with a big fan base. I'm actually beginning my career, my adult life, I'm jumping without a net.
