Things You Probably Didn't Need to Know
Sometimes I can really develop child-like habits. For example I get food fixations. Sometimes when I find a food that I like I eat large quantities over a long period of time. I'm not talking about junk food or unhealthy foods either I'm talking vegetables and what not. I know that I do this so I have to monitor what I buy at the grocery store. I know what foods trigger this and will allow myself to have them in moderation. Sometimes I find new foods and the cycle begins again. Now you might be thinking why is this a bad thing if it's healthy food? Not all food that is good for you produces good results. Junior year of college a certain roommate (name withheld to protect individual from possible embarrassment) and I ate large quantities of Asparagus for a few weeks. Despite the fact that asparagus is expensive it has another downfall. Consuming too much asparagus makes your urine stink. I know gross. The healthy aspects of it give your urine a nice acetone smell. You pretty much pee nail polish remover. I've also learned that white grape juice is large quantities turns your pee bright green. I love white grape juice so much that I can't even buy it. I used to drink a minimum of 2 gallons of the stuff a week. That is until I started peeing highlighter fluid. My latest conclusion, broccoli not only turns your pee green but it makes it smell too. I've recently been consuming too much broccoli come to find.
