Without a Trace........
JUST THINKING:
So I was thinking about growing up and getting older. When this happens friends are lost along the way and it's a really hard thing to do some times and other times it's a natural progression. There are just some people that you never think you'll grow apart from. Then one day you turn around and they are gone. Where did you go and will I ever see you again?
Forgive me I'm in a funk and this just makes it worse. It's really disappointing when people just disapper when you need them the most especially when you've never disappered on them.

I hear ya. My best friend from HS and I had so many plans..(and I graduated in 1984) Now we have drifted apart and are like strangers. Which hurts. I am the type of person that clings on to my past SO much. "Growing up" sucks because you are "expected" to act a certain way and it is hard to fit friends into your life with work, husband, and kids.
The currents of life are indeed a mystifying thing. People come and go and we don't ever really know why sometimes. It is sad though when some really close peeps move on through without a trace.
I completely agree with both of you. It is mystifying how someone you have known for what seems like your entire life can just drop right off the face of the earth without so much as a whisper of a goodbye.
