So I had to drive Anthony's WRX today because my car needed a new belt. I could get in some serious trouble if that was my everyday driver. The fact that I am a bit of a lead foot if you will, would aid in my getting into trouble. The WRX gets up there pretty quickly. My car is fast but not as fast as Anthony's. The WRX is a 5 speed and I forgot how much I miss driving my old Sentra. When I bought my new car I couldn't get it in a 5 speed which is disappointing but I still love it. However, driving Anthony's car today brought back the nostalgia of my old 5 speed. However, now my car is fixed and I must give up Anthony's car and return to my more practical Matrix.
Like I said before the Matrix needed a new belt. When I brought the car in for my last oil change they told me I needed the belt and it would only cost me $350 to fix. Wow what a deal! However, my very intelligent boyfriend could fix it for me. He only charged me $20. (the cost of the belt) Something tells me the dealership wasn't telling me the complete truth.
So my eye doctor told me months ago I needed to start wearing my glasses more because my contacts were causing blood vessels to form in my eyes. This isn't very good. Well I having been putting off getting glasses because, well, they're expensive. I used all of my insurance to get my contacts so the cost of the glasses is an out of pocket expense. I ask my mom to get them for me for Christmas or at least pay for some of them. Of course she said yes because she is my mom and spoils me. Today I went to browse for glasses and ended up buying a new pair. I'm a sucker for sales. I saved a hundred and seventeen dollars how could I pass up a deal like that!
